Where I dump photos and musing from travels in India, Hyderabad, Goa, Dubai, Delhi, Beijing, Hong Kong, Nanjing, and some other places I'll fill in later.

Pollution in Beijing has been clear for most of my trip, but last few days have been more of a glimpse of what it’s like to live & jog on these streets.

I can barely see the bldgs 2 blocks away, that’s NOT fog. There are ginormous flower structures everywhere with annuals for some stupid reason instead of plants that will clean the air. Trees are highly protected, it’s not unusual to see houses built around them. Poor things don’t stand a chance. The countryside I saw on our way to the great Wall was some of the most beat down soil ever.

There is a second & modern Forbidden City for PRC officials next to the old & “open” one. I mean, it’s RIGHT next to it. Those people will rise up and take their children to live in the US someday & ship us out here to live instead.

More words & pics when I land in Korea.
